Improve Your Mind, Body and Spirit

Want to improve your balance, strength, and flexibility, relieve pain, and boost your energy and mood? Join us for our new yoga class with popular, veteran teacher Stacey Paige as she guides us through an alignment based slow flow practice.  Please bring water, your yoga mat, two blocks, a strap and a yoga blanket or towel.

Wellness Center Workshops

Workshops are available in person and/or by Zoom. All Zoom meeting registration closes on Saturday morning at 9:50 a.m.  The login link will be emailed with Zoom access available shortly afterward.  Saturday morning on-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and the workshop begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Recognize and balance your contradictions

Enneagram work is shadow work. We are looking at and recognizing the polarities inside us -- that's emotional polarities -- and learning ways to hold these polarities to reconcile them, to be a presence. This heartful presence can see the good within us along with the shadowy stuff and hold them both here. We are talking about holding the contradictions in us, to hold the ‘yes and no’ within me; the light and dark within me; and to open my eyes and heart to the truth that carries us through that inner split to some new integration of our spiritual awareness.

Leading with Love: Heart Chakra Balancing

Balance your source of love and connection

Within each of us is an intricate energy system coming together in seven main energy centers, or chakras, in our body. The Heart Chakra is located in the center of the chest and is our source of love and connection.  It is considered to be the energetic bridge between our three lower chakras, which relate to our human individuality, and the three upper chakras, which are related to Universal consciousness.  In this workshop we will gain a deeper understanding of the heart chakra and bring balance to this energy center through targeted gentle yoga, meditation, sound healing and aromatherapy.

NOTE: Recommended to bring your own yoga mat, blocks, straps, a yoga blanket or a large towel, and water. Limited extra mats, blocks and straps will be available.

The spiritual work of the Enneagram helps us move from fixation - the forms of suffering, to freedom - qualities of presence. We have this inner life, this inner life of the soul, this inner life of the heart. When we're present through the heart, and we're willing to be with the forms of our self-abandonment and our suffering and to recognize our gifts and hold all of that together. This also reconciles our outer and inner life so that we're able to live more and more congruently with our spirituality within, that which is seeking to emerge through us.

Summer Solstice Yoga, Meditation & Sound Bath

Honor and nourish your inner growth

The cycle of the sun represents the cycle of our lives, the natural flow of energy moving inward and outward.  There are times to grow, times to pause, times to shed and times to learn.  The Summer Solstice represents the transition from spring’s cycle of action, to a time of turning within and nourishing the seeds we planted.  In this workshop we will honor the changing of the seasons with gentle yoga, guided meditation and a 45-minute healing sound bath with crystal singing bowls, chimes and gongs. NOTE:  Recommended to bring a yoga mat, blocks, a strap and water.  You may also want to bring a blanket and pillow for the sound bath.  Limited extra mats, blocks and straps will be available.

Acupressure and Reflexology for Self-Care

Locate points and apply pressure for natural healing 

Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. Reflexology is a form of acupressure that focuses specifically on points in the feet, hands and ears. We will learn to locate points on the body to address common physical conditions such as headache, indigestion, muscle tension and pain, sinus problems and eye strain. Additionally, we will locate points to address anxiety, insomnia, emotional overload and to boost the immune system. Equip yourself with these natural healing techniques for self-care and to share with family and friends.
