Workshops
Wellness Center workshops are available in-person and by Zoom except where indicated otherwise. Please note Zoom registration closes two (2) hours before workshops begin. Zoom access details are sent prior to the workshop, but no later than 30 minutes before the workshop. Register in-person or use our online credit card links below. If you prefer to pay in-person, please email with the subject line “Pre-Register” so we can set-up appropriately. On-site registration begins 30 minutes before the workshop; we accept cash, check, or credit card payment. All workshops begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Please note: We require a minimum of five (5) registrations for workshops to be offered. If this minimum is not met by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to the Saturday workshop, UHWC reserves the right to cancel any workshop and will issue a refund or workshop credit for use at a future date at the registrant’s request.

Enjoy Gentle Yoga, Meditation, and a Sound Bath
In this integrative self-care journey, we'll begin with gentle yoga and then move into guided meditation and a healing sound bath. Or you can come only for the meditation and sound healing experience. This workshop will help you relax your body, calm your mind, clear stuck energy, and activate your body's natural healing systems.
Please bring your yoga mat, strap, two blocks, water, and arrive by 4:15 pm. You may also want to bring a blanket, pillow and eye covering for the sound bath. Limited extra mats, blocks and straps will be available. This workshop will start promptly at 4:30 p.m. This is an in-person event only - no Zoom.

Come Discover the Benefits of Mindfulness!
This three-part series on mindfulness will include the following workshops occurring every two months. Each two-hour workshop will incorporate mindful movement exercises, guided reflection and journaling, and more. Attend one workshop or all of them. Special pricing for each workshop is $35 per session.

Discover Meditation in Motion
Begin your journey to physical and spiritual health by learning a gentle form of Tai Chi that provides body awareness, pain relief, stillness, and much more. Body, mind and spirit come together while practicing the ancient art of Tai Chi that is optimized for health and well-being. Carolyn and De will guide you through the first several moves and foundational exercises that are meditative while also bringing countless physical benefits. This workshop is also a preview of classes we will be teaching weekly, starting in January. Come join us and see why Tai Chi is known as meditation in motion! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring water. This is an in-person event only – no Zoom.
