6-Week Beginner Tai Chi Class Series

Thursdays: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Experience Meditation in Motion - Beginner Class

Offered in-person only.

Begin your journey to physical and spiritual health by learning a gentle form of Tai Chi that provides body awareness, pain relief, stillness, and much more. Body, mind and spirit come together while practicing the ancient art of Tai Chi that is optimized for health and well-being. Come join us and see why Tai Chi is known as meditation in motion! This is an in-person event only - no Zoom.

This will be a 6-week class with no experience needed.  In this shorter beginning class, you will learn the basics of Tai Chi and a Tai Chi Short Form.  Upon completion of this class, you will be eligible to continue your Tai Chi journey in the morning Continuing Tai Chi class taught at this same location on Mondays, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  This is a 6-week class series. Reduce Stress, Increase Energy, and Restore Balance

Offered in-person only.

If you’re looking for a gentle, accessible practice that incorporates movement, breath, and meditation, then try Qigong.  In this 3-part class series, we will introduce students to this transformative practice where you will reduce stress, increase energy, and restore balance between the body and emotions.  Qigong movements mirror those of nature, so we will flow like water and the wind, thereby creating more spaciousness and vitality in the body.  This is an in-person class, no Zoom.

Body, mind and spirit come together while practicing the ancient art of Tai Chi that is optimized for health and well-being.  The deeper you go, the more health benefits you will receive. 
Tai Chi can be a lifelong journey.  This class is designed to be a continuation of your Tai Chi journey after you have learned the basics from a beginning Tai Chi class through Connection Tai Chi or a similar Tai Chi class in the lineage of Master Moy Lin Chin.  (If you have not taken the beginning class through Connection Tai Chi, approval by the instructor is needed.)  If you have questions about whether this class is right for you, send us a message at https://connectiontaichi.org/contact/ and we will contact you.

Due to a scheduling issue, our April 29th Wednesday Yoga Class will meet on Tuesday evening, April 28th, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

Improve Your Mind, Body and Spirit

Offered in-person and on Zoom.

Want to improve your balance, strength, flexibility, relieve pain and boost your energy and mood?  Then join us for our weekly class with Amy who will guide you through an alignment-based, slow-flow practice.  Amy believes that yoga is a pathway to personal transformation regardless of age or level of experience.  She works with each student to make suitable adjustments for ease and comfort. Please bring water, your yoga mat, two blocks, a strap, and a yoga blanket or towel. We have limited props on hand.
